Player reaction has largely been positive, with fans praising the leak’s gritty visuals and weighty combat.
With Diablo 4 set to release next year, expect a lot more work to be done and changes to be made before we get our hands on it. Halfway through the 38-minute video, a short feedback survey even pops up, asking the player for their thoughts on the game in its current state. Lots of buildings are missing their textures, a few icons are yet to be put in, and some sound effects are absent. The footage is clearly taken from an early version of the game. We’re even given a brief look at the character’s skill tree and the world map. The Barbarian class has plenty of attacks to choose from and the game’s UI is minimal. It looks pretty dark and atmospheric, too. It follows the familiar gameplay loop of exploring dungeons, fighting demons, and picking up loot, as damage counters blast out of enemies’ heads and the player manages their inventory. Diablo 4 is set to launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC in 2023.The footage shows exactly what you’d expect from a current-gen Diablo game. It also announced that the hack wouldn't affect the development of the next Grand Theft Auto game. Rockstar soon confirmed in a statement that "an unauthorised third-party" had stolen these gameplay videos from the developer. These videos showed a lot of early development footage from GTA 6, and confirm that Vice City is a returning setting and that there will be a female protagonist. If you somehow missed it, over 90 GTA 6 gameplay videos were leaked online after a hacker breached Rockstar's systems. This is the second major gaming leak to occur over the past few days. In the leaked footage we see quite a few unfinished textures and what appears to be a Barbarian character exploring the game's world and fighting against enemies - all in all, it looks like Diablo 4 is shaping up quite nicely. The videos, one around five minutes in length and the other 38 minutes, are watermarked with the words 'Private Test Build' and an ID number.
